2007 Blawg Review of the Year

Congratulations to Colin Samuels of Infamy or Praise for his Blawg Review of the Year Three-Peat. Although Mr. Samuels was more than gracious in nominating several other blawgs for the honor, the glitterati has spoken, awarding him Blawg Review's top honor for a third year in a row.

On a personal note, I would like to thank Colin for the wonderful write-up he gave CyberLaw last week. Even though Colin was the clear favorite going in, it is tough to root against such a nice guy. He certainly takes all of the fun out of Schadenfreude.

I would also like to thank Eric Turkewitz of the New York Personal Injury Law Blog, David Donoghue of the Chicago IP Litigation Blog and Tom Colson, of Securing Innovation for nominating BlawgIT's Blawg Review #106 for Blawg Review of the Year.

I would like to say "We'll get'em next year!", but Rush Nigut has already definitively stated that his February 18, 2008 Blawg Review "will make you forget everything you thought you knew about Blawg Reviews." Okay, I might be paraphrasing a little, but that is definitely the impression I got from speaking with him. I sure pity the poor bastard that has to follow Rush this year.

Oh, you are just too funny! Although I would never make such outlandish statements I hope to provide a unique Iowa perspective on the Blawg Review.

Congratulations on being mentioned among some truly great blawg reviews.

Perhaps I overstated things a tad. Okay, I completely made it up. I do know, however, that you have the skills to make that outlandish statement a reality. I just wanted to throw a little motivation your way.
